Ruth Tice graduated from Saginaw Valley State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. She continued her education at University of Michigan where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree in 2019. She has a certification through the Institute of Clinical Excellence to provide a fitness forward approach for treatment at every age and stage of a patient’s journey.
She has specialized in the treatment of vestibular disorders since 2020 in addition to providing orthopedic physical therapy. She continues to focus on vestibular specialization through completion of educational courses from experts and leaders in the vestibular field including Dr. Susan Herdman, Dr. Richard Clendaniel, Dr. Susan Whitney and others. Ruth feels called to provide vestibular specialty care as she understands how impactful it can be in restoring quality of life for her patients. She has a passion for evidence-based care and creates custom care plans to meet patient goals.
Ruth joined Vestibular Therapy Specialists after moving from Puyallup, WA to Seattle, WA in August of 2023. In her free time, she enjoys strength training, hiking, reading, music, bouldering, and spending time with her friends, family, and pets.
