Our Neurocognitive Testing, in partnership with the American Institute of Balance (AIB), evaluates balance, dizziness, spatial awareness, and vestibular function in patients recovering from traumatic brain injuries (TBIs). AIB-certified testing is a gold standard in the field of vestibular and balance disorders, helping to identify impairments that affect daily activities, mobility, and cognitive function. This comprehensive assessment is critical for creating individualized treatment plans and providing objective clinical insight to guide care.
Diagnostic: Neurocognitive testing through AIB is designed to identify vestibular and cognitive impairments linked to TBI. While not a treatment itself, it is an essential tool for determining the next steps in the recovery process.
Initial comprehensive assessment to establish baseline vestibular and cognitive function.
Follow-up testing every 3-6 months to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Testing frequency depends on severity of impairments and patient recovery progress.
